Why I like Windows 7.

In the early days of Windows 7 i used to dislike it. I kept saying that it was just Vista with a larger taskbar. In many ways I was right about that.

It seems that the “Superbar” as it is now known, is an effective window manager and application launcher. I really like it as many windows of the same application don’t clog up the task bar.

First of all, the taskbar notification icons have all been put in their own little area, and they no longer clog up the system tray.

Secondly I love the pin tab feature on the super bar. It makes having an application launcher such as RocketDock for example useless.

Apart from that there is not much difference between Windows Vista and Windows 7. Honestly though I prefer Windows Vista.
